In life, we often look up to certain individuals as symbols of strength and resilience. These people seem to possess an unbreakable spirit, able to withstand any storm that comes their way. We may think of them as soldiers in the battle of life, ever ready, ever strong. But even the strongest soldiers have their weakest moments.
Strength is not the absence of weakness, but the ability to persist and persevere despite it. Every person, no matter how strong, has moments when the weight of the world feels too heavy, when the battles seem too fierce, and when the spirit feels weary. These moments of
weakness are not signs of failure but a part of the human experience.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that vulnerability is not a flaw. It is, in fact, a profound strength. Acknowledging our moments of weakness is the first step toward true resilience. It is in these moments that we often find our deepest sources of strength and grace.
In my own life, I have faced many challenges that tested my faith and fortitude. From navigating personal setbacks to overcoming fears, each experience has taught me the power of leaning on my faith and the support of loved ones. My recent experience with the publication of my first book, (Father, Teach Me How To Pray: 31-Day Devotional) for instance, was a significant setback that left me feeling upset and disappointed. But through prayer and reflection, I found solace and the reminder that everything works together for my good.
In those moments of weakness, I have learned to turn to the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength. Prayer becomes my refuge, my source of renewal. It is in these quiet moments of communion with God that I find the courage to face the challenges before me. The words of Psalm 91:11-12 remind me that God has given His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways. This divine assurance is a powerful reminder that I am never alone, even in my weakest moments.
Moreover, sharing our vulnerabilities with others can be a source of immense strength. When we are transparent about our struggles, we create a space for genuine connection and support. It allows others to see that they are not alone in their battles and that together, we can find strength and encouragement.
So, if you find yourself in a moment of weakness, remember that it is okay to feel weary. It is okay to lean on others and to seek the comfort of prayer. Embrace your vulnerability, for it is in these moments that your true strength is revealed. The journey of life is not about being perpetually strong but about rising each time we fall, with the unwavering belief that with God’s help, we can overcome any challenge. Even the strongest soldiers have their weakest moments. But it is through these moments that they discover the depths of their courage, the power of their faith, and the beauty of their resilience.
